AHRC Research Network: Iconoclasms Past & Present

Research Fellow

Based upon my participation in a workshop at Dumbarton Oaks, Harvard’s Research Center in Washington, DC, I was invited to join a research network of scholars and curators in the UK and the US advancing studies of iconoclasm, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council. Our research and meetings over two years culminated in an edited volume to which I contributed an article, and a major exhibition at Tate Britain, Art Under Attack: Histories of British Iconoclasm (2013) and an edited volume, Striking Images: Iconoclasms Past and Present (2013).
